At The Source we are always thinking of how we can support our local charities and what we can do to give something back. This is when we stumbled across The Beauty Bank. The Beauty Bank is a non-profit organisation which supports The Edinburgh Central Food bank. Its a UK based organisation which provides cities with the ability to support their local areas. Sadly poverty affects a huge amount of the population and not only are those in need of food they are also in need of essential hygiene products.
I think we can all say we have either purchased a product which we have never used, purchased way too many or maybe even been given a product that we haven't perhaps always wanted (cheeky but true). These are the key things we are looking for! Any beauty or essential hygiene products would be hugely appreciated. We have placed a list below of things that are perfect.
Toilet roll
Deodorant
Body wash
Face wash
Moisturiser
Disposable Razors
Tampons and sanitary wear
Tooth paste
Tooth brushes
Travel sizes
Simply pop into the clinic and drop off your products and we will take care of the rest! The only small thing we ask is that the products are not used (not even a little bit).
It really is the small things that count so even if it's one travel size it could make a huge difference to someone in need so please do contribute... you don't even need to be a client of ours we would still love to see you.
Let friends and family know the more we collect the better.
