Thanks to all our clients for a busy September, and to those who joined us for our FaceSTIM Elevate Event, I can't quite believe its October!
With us all back from our holiday's the diary is now open for November and December appointments if you are looking to book ahead. We also have a date for your diary, more details below.
I think we have all started to feel the change in weather, the darker mornings and colder temperature slowly creeping in. With these changes in temperature and other elements like central heating, you may notice a change in your skin. FAQ's on Plasma® by Jovena

After completing our advanced Plasma training last month we have all been so impressed with the results of the treatment on our models so far.
We thought we'd put together some FAQ's on the Plasma procedure to give you a better idea of what to expect during and after the treatment in advance of it's launch in clinic later this month.
How does it work?
Our Plasma® device delivers controlled plasma energy that gently contracts the skin’s surface. This plasma arc stimulates the skin and fibroblasts, creating tiny micro-injuries that trigger the body’s natural healing response. Heat causes tightening of existing collagen fibers which shrink slightly; then over time replaced by new collagen. This gives an immediate tightening effect + longer term improvement. You’ll notice some tightening
right away—often 30%—with your final results continuing to develop beautifully over the next 3 months as new collagen forms.
What happens during a plasma treatment?
Your practitioner applies a numbing cream for about 20 to 40 minutes.
If we are using the PlasmaPro, (upper/lower eyes, small individual areas) precise dotting is performed—tiny points (about 1mm apart) that form a protective crust while your skin heals and tightens.
If we are treating larger areas like face, neck & décolleté the PlasmaRoll works by delivering gentle Fractional Plasma energy to the superficial layers of the skin using a
disposable roller with micro-holes making it quick with minimal discomfort.
When will I see results?
Most clients see an immediate tightening effect. As your skin heals and collagen production increases, improvements continue to develop over the next 12 weeks, giving you progressively firmer, smoother results.
What downtime should I expect?
Downtime is minimal compared to surgery, though you should expect visible signs of healing:

Small crusted dots and some redness immediately after treatment

Possible swelling (especially the next day), usually settling in 2–3 days

Crusts naturally fall away in about 8 days on the face and neck
