AlumierMD's New HydraRich is an ultra rich moisturiser for normal to dry skin. This product contains a blend of Antioxidants, peptides and soothing ingredients which will rebalance sensitive tired skin and provide comfort and nourishment.
First up we have our peptide; Matrixyl Synthe 6. This anti ageing ingredient improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, strengthens and firms laxity in the skin.
Next we have high and low molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid which penetrates deeper into the skin to draw in water and help retain moisture. And niacinamide to provide intense hydration and restore the hydrolipid barrier.
Squalene, inca inchi oil and shea butter are also in there and all have moisture locking benefits.
For the next ingredient we are going to look at microbiomes.
What is the microbiome?
The skin microbiome is individual to everyone we all have microscopic organisms that exist in a specific environment on the skin all determined by genetics. The Microbiome is the protective barrier which prevents infection on the skin.
We all have our own unique microbiome that reveals information about our health and other biological information. This closely links gut health to skin health - therefore the skin's microbiome requires ongoing recovery and protection from daily stressors and outside aggressors.
Disruptions of the skin microbiome may lead to eczema, acne, skin ageing and barrier function sensitivity. A compromised skin barrier may feel or look like increased sensitivity, red, tight, dry, increased breakouts and/or rashes.
In HydraRich we use Probiotic CLR NP - an ingredient that will restore the skin's natural flora leading to a strengthened skin barrier and reduction of the conditions associated with it.
